Jez Taylor is a retired school teacher living in Sussex UK. He trained at Roehampton to be an Religious Education teacher in the Secondary phase of education. He has worked in three different state schools across Sussex during his thirty-seven-year career. During this time, he was a Head of Department, Head of House/Year, Head of a faculty and an Assistant Head Teacher with a wide variety of responsibilities. Not only has he taught RE but also English, History, Geography, PSHE, Careers, Citizenship, ICT and PE.

Jez is an evangelical Christian with a Baptist tradition. He serves as a leader and staff member at the church he attends. He grew up in south London becoming a Christian through the work of Crusaders, now Urban Saints. He has been a youth leader at his church and leads All Age services and occasionally preaches. He has a lovely wife and two adult children. He enjoys sport, supporting the mighty Fulham FC and plays golf badly.
